During the last two weeks we gave the tenth EPICENTER Summer Course on Epistemic Game Theory at Maastricht University. We had 18 participants from 9 different countries and 8 different disciplines, ranging from bachelor students, master students and research master students to PhD students. A very diverse group indeed.
The lectures and exercise sessions were given, with great enthusiasm, by Christian Bach, Niels Mourmans, Andrés Perea, Joep van Sloun, and Elias Tsakas. The course offers a reasoning-based approach to game theory, which was highly appreciated by the students. The group of students was very active and motivated: they asked many questions, and triggered numerous discussions, which is of course a good sign.
Last week, Andrés acted as a guide for a city walk through the center of Maastricht, after which the students were offered a lunch at Café D'n Ingel. This way, they do not only learn about game theory, but also about the history and the buildings in our beautiful city of Maastricht.
Christian, Niels, Joep and Andrés are already looking forward to next year's edition.
