Dear students,

The final exams are near and so is the upcoming summer break, finally;)!! The ISH office will close this summer from July 17 to August 11 2023. So do you have any questions before the summer break starts? Do not hesitate to swing by our office or send an email before 14th of July. During our break, we will sometimes check our email, but not as often as we normally do.

We highly encourage also EEA students to sign up, because in some cases, your EHIC could not be sufficient to cover yourself fully in the Netherlands.

ISH is open for visits again as of Monday 15 August!!

Have you already registered with a general practitioner?

Dear student,

If you live in Maastricht or the surrounding areas, we strongly advice you to be registered with a general practitioner in your neighbourhood. Because if you have a health problem, you can contact him/her during office hours. The GP medical post Maastricht and Heuvelland is only open for emergencies that occur outside office hours. Please note that you will receive an invoice for our services provided.

Because we currently receive a relatively large number of care questions from students who do not have their own GP yet, we call on you to register with a GP in your area. For an overview of GP’s check: https://hapmaastricht.nl/en/affiliated-gps.

In this way you contribute a lot to keeping the emergency helplines open. Thank you so much for your understanding!
