Join us to see what makes this game so special and why it has stood against the test of time ✨ We'll start with a short presentation covering the basics, from how the pieces move to general strategies and tactics. We'll tailor the level to what's useful for the group, and if you're an experienced player, you're warmly invited to share your knowledge too :) Afterwards, we'll set up games to play in our lovely garden, under the gentle warmth of the sun.

This event is open to FLINTA people only (women, le***an, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender people - no cis men). Most chess spaces are dominated by cis men, so we wanted to create one that makes room for everyone else

Our next Silent Reading is on the horizon! On the 31st of May we will gather around at St Jan's to for some quiet space away from the noise for a cozy reading afternoon ✨ You are welcome to bring a book, and we also will have a few on hand just in case. The topic for this month is love, whether love between partners, friends, family. There will be a small introduction of the theme, an introduction round to get to know everyone, time for reading and then a discussion at the end 📚

Are you interested in creating spaces where students can slow down, connect, and explore meaning together? The InnBetween is looking for Student Board Members to help shape our weekly events, workshops, and community life.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll help create spaces for reflection, conversation, creativity, and belonging.

Requirements:
1. The student is enrolled full-time at Maastricht University or Zuyd;
2. The student’s year of service on the student council falls within the first four years of the bachelor’s program
