At a recent staff event, ESHPM staff worked hard at making Christmas trees to decorate their offices. 🎄

With a goal of saving not only funds, but also recycling waste, they created these three whimsical Christmas trees. ✨

One going for space vibes, another a statement against climate change, the third featuring a flamingo with a nosering. Safe to say, ESHPM's creative juices were flowing! 🧑🏼‍🎄

These trees can be admired at J7 (Bayle Building).

Wonen en Dementie: hoe kunnen we mantelzorgers beter steunen?

Bent u een mantelzorger:
· voor iemand met dementie die thuis woont,
· woont u bij hem of haar in huis of in de buurt,
· en wilt u helpen door uw ervaring als mantelzorger met mij delen?

Doe dan mee aan dit vragenlijstonderzoek! We willen leren over hoe de woning waar iemand met dementie woont van invloed is op het geven van mantelzorg. Welke problemen ervaart u? Welke hulpmiddelen of aanpassingen aan de woning helpen om mantelzorg geven makkelijker te maken?

An ageing population, climate change, staff shortages, lifestyle-related diseases: our healthcare system is under growing pressure. At the same time, Dutch healthcare accounts for 7% (more than the aviation industry!) of our national CO2 emissions. That must change, but how?

🎓🌍 To solve these issues, we need transdisciplinary collaboration. Convergence (a collaboration between , and ) is working on a new Transdisciplinary Research Master Sustainable Health. Your input is essential to make this master a success!

This year marks the 13th edition of the Health Business Week, taking place from March 4th to March 15th, 2024, in Rotterdam. The Health Business Week is the largest healthcare-related career event in the Netherlands, bringing together students, companies, and engaging speakers. De Bachelor Open Dag van afgelopen zaterdag 7 oktober was weer een groot succes! Samen met de programmadirecteur Marleen de Mul, tutoren, Jeroen van Wijngaarden, Lotte de Jong (alumnus) en het ambassadorteam hebben we een geslaagd evenement neergezet! Gedurende de dag hebben we weer een groot aantal studiekiezers voorzien van informatie over de bachelor Gezondheidswetenschappen, BMG. De gehele dag zaten de presentaties vol en werd de stand van gezondheidswetenschappen druk bezocht. Al met al hopen we weer een groot aantal studiekiezers te verwelkomen volgend jaar.📚👩‍🎓
