The Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs offers a wide variety of educational programmes. These include bachelor degrees, one year taught masters, research masters, PhD programmes and continuing education courses for professionals. Furthermore, research is conducted in the fields of justice, peace and security, as well as multilevel governance. Facing important socio-cultural issues of the 21st century like climate change, terrorism and economic crises, requires a substantial and in-depth scientific knowledge. At the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs these themes are studied through a combined perspective of public administration, political science, law, sociology and economics. This interdisciplinary approach gives the Faculty’s research and teaching its cross-border character. Location
The Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs has three central locations in the city centre:
1. Schouwburgstraat 2, mail building
2. Wijnhaven building, Turfmarkt 99
3. Anna van Buerenplein 301, the campus of Leiden University College (www.lucthehague.nl)
