On Tuesday 2nd of June, between 18:00-21:00 in the Auditorium, we will show works of 42 students that have been enrolled in different classes we teach, focusing on artistic filmmaking during the last study year.

You can stay for a bit or stay for it all.
The program is roughly 3 hours.

The initiative comes from an urgency to highlight the medium of moving image and film within the KABK, as it often otherwise is not very visible within the academy’s everyday operations. We wish to forefront the excitement, curiosity and experimental energy the KABK students bring into this medium.

Looking forward!

Clara J:son Borg and Iztok Klančar
Tutors in moving image and film at BA Fine Arts and BA Photography, IST, Practicum Artium

With extra support by tutors Anna Abrahams and Jan Frederik Groot

Are you currently preparing to study at KABK?

Part of being a student at the KABK is getting to know The Hague itself — and there’s far more to this seaside town than meets the eye. As well as museums full of famous art, there is a strong experimental art scene populated by independent art spaces and collectives. There are parks for picnicking, beaches for swimming, and cosy bars and cafes for some gezelligheid — all just a short bike ride away!

Check out our 5 tips to start your KABK journey & discover The Hague via link in bio and check this video made by Touchy Studios  about the KABK!
