Through the use of various forms of media, LUC identities (LUC.id) aims to document and showcase the identity of Leiden University College, through its building, events, staff or students. Whether it be incoming first years who want to understand what the LUC community is like, or students and alumni looking back at the great memories they made, the content made by LUC.id aims to be timeless. We d
o this through curating contents, both online and offline in the form of both video and photography series. Our video series range from year-old traditions, such as “LUC Cribs” which showcases how LUC students decorate their rooms and “Truth or Drink” where friends challenges each other to tell the truth, to new ones that our members continue to develop throughout the years. Meanwhile, our photography series include taking pictures of events, “Boozed.id” which is a series of portraits of people as the night progresses, and new projects. Both of this media is showcased online through social media platforms and offline through exhibitions. Not only this, our committee also aims to expand the knowledge and skills of students through providing workshops and photo walks. As part of LUC.id, you have the creative freedom and access to resources that allows you to create your own project capturing the identities at LUC.
