Are you a film fan who’s also involved in issues like human rights?

If so, you can sign up to be on the student jury that judges the annual Movies that Matter Festival held from 18 through 26 March 2016.

Every year, a number of THUAS students select three films from the festival programme that they think address important social issues. These films will be shown during the Movies that Matter Festival that takes place in Filmhuis Den Haag and Theater aan het Spui from 18 through 26 March. The director of the film that wins the Students’ Choice Award wins not only the award but also a cash prize of 1,500 euros.

The festival organisers have asked THUAS to help locate students to be on this jury.
Interested? Then send your letter telling why you’d make a great jury member to [email protected] (deadline: 18 November).

More information about the festival is available at the Movies that Matter website
