Dear Students,
We are honoured to have been invited by The Knowledge Management Team of the Human Medicines Division of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) to a virtual chat with Dr Drew Weissman. Dr Weissman was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2023 jointly with Katalin Karikó for their groundbreaking work on modifying nucleosides, which paved the way for the development of effective mRNA vaccines against COVID-19.
This live-streamed event hosted at THUAS by Dr Tokaji-Nagy, EU PAC coordinator (Law), will take place on:
Tuesday, 2 July from 4:30 - 6:00 PM, in Room SL3.66
It will start with opening remarks by Emer Cooke (Executive Director), followed by Dr. Weissman’s lecture and a Q&A session.
