Fontys Academy of Circus and Performance Art (ACAPA) of Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts offers a four-year full-time study program with a pioneering, distinctive artistic shape. The international orientated study leads to an internationally recognized academic bachelor diploma of professional education as Circus performer and has a highly qualified team and a clear misson.

Luna is a contemporary circus artist specialising in flying pole. Her practice explores the meeting point between power and tenderness, searching for ways to make strength feel fluid, gentle and inevitable. Drawn to patterns, repetition and organic movement, she follows curiosity as a creative compass, allowing movement to unfold rather than forcing it into shape. Inspired by poetry and cinematic storytelling, she approaches circus as a space to explore resilience, vulnerability and quiet transformation.

Vivianne Keene is an aerialist from Northern California who specializes in aerial straps. In her practice she likes to make an impact on the audience through dynamic movement and high expressiveness. She tends to play with abstract narration and using technique and dramaturgy as tools to tell a story.

Émilie Bousquet-Paschke is a Canadian and French circus artist specialised in floor acrobatics. In her practice, she combines flexibility and dynamic, always searching for the new paths her body can take. She creates expressive, theatrical and clownish pieces and researches around character embodiment and the connection between movement and emotions. Tiny sensitive and passionate acro-dancer, she loves words, everyday poetry and bursts of laughter. Whether it be as an interpret or a creator, she thrives when surrounded by others, as part of a community.

Thomas Spark is circus maker and Chinese pole artist from France. He's long been interested in the artist/audience relationship and how to bridge the gap in new and inviting ways, creating pieces where audience participation is key. He speaks with his own flow on the pole, his main collaborator, to hopefully bring fun, questionning, poetic performances to open-minded people like you.

Tara Lovise Kvarving is a dance trapeze and performance artist from Trondheim, Norway. Tara enjoys playing with spectacle, surrealism, and creating immersive experiences on stage through contemporary circus. You can expect to see fun, weird, sentimental, bold and aesthetic realities unfold on stage as she intertwines aerial acrobatics with storytelling and self expression.

Fred Rush is a tight wire artist originally from Galway Ireland. His practice consists practically of his interests in interdisciplinary work, and aesthetically of a concept he developed called the Beautiful Ugly (the intersection between what we consider beautiful vs what we consider ugly). These two aspects of his work collide on stage to create universes of discomfort and distortion. He invites you to sit a moment longer in your discomfort and find the beauty that hides there.
