📝 New Reporting Systems 📝

Dear members,
We are pleased to announce that the new reporting systems, which were presented at the last General Members Meeting, are now up and running!
As of now, when someone wishes to make a report about another person or file a complaint, there are three official ways to do so. Making a report or filing a complaint is possible when a person has acted in a way that violates the internal regulations or in case of other transgressive behaviour by that person.
This post is aimed to explain the purpose and differences of all three reporting systems. Also, it shows how to make use of the reporting systems and where to find them.

Down below, we will briefly summarise all different options:

🤫 Anonymous Report
- Always fully anonymous
- No immediate sanctioning
- Build up a file

⚠️ Report
- NOT anonymous
- No desire of further sanctioning
- Three independent reports  Addressed by board

📝 Formal Complaint
- NOT anonymous
- Immediate sanctioning is desired

‼️ NOTE: Reporting a person or situation to one of Complex’s Confidential Contact Persons (CCPs) is of course also still possible. The CCPs will in no case inform the board, or anyone else, about your report without your approval.

On April 16th, our yearly Experience Your Future event will take place! During this event, you can get acquainted with various directions within psychology. The evening will consist of 3 rounds with an information market in between. Our speakers will be announced starting next week. Check our post already for our timetable!

Time: 18.00 - 22.00
Price: Free for SPS-NIP and Complex members, 3 euros for non-members (you will also receive a goodie bag while supplies last!)

Social safety is one of the core values of our association. Therefore, Complex collaborates with Rutgers on the 'Are You Okay?' campaign.
When in doubt about whether someone feels comfortable or not, asking one simple question can make all the difference.
To properly convey the message of this campaign, Complex appointed some of her members as 'Are You Okay?' ambassadors.

Today we share Yvo's message:
"Together, we ensure that Complex is okay by taking an active attitude at times when people feel uncomfortable or unsafe. This way, our association is a safe place for everyone."
According to Yvo, creating and maintaining a socially safe environment requires a proactive attitude. This is obviously a message that Complex fully supports!

Complex is looking for a new board!

Social safety is one of the core values of our association. Therefore, Complex collaborates with Rutgers on the 'Are You Okay?' campaign.
When in doubt about whether someone feels comfortable or not, asking one simple question can make all the difference.
To properly convey the message of this campaign, Complex appointed some of her members as 'Are You Okay?' ambassadors.

Today we share Zena's message:
"When someone is being approached and I doubt whether they really want it, I ask the question: Are you okay? This way everybody can have a great time!"
Looking after each other and making sure everybody feels comfortable is important for Zena. This is obviously a message that Complex fully supports!
