Student Party Stimulus are the student representatives in the School Council of TSB - the social faculty of Tilburg University. Our mission is to represent TSB students, so that they can fully develop themselves within and outside their studies. We execute our mission by realizing our 4 pillars:

“Connecting people in meaningful ways”
We are connecting people by hosting the Faculty Forum where all

study associations and parties of TSB bend over important issues regarding students. Next to that, we value partnerships such as TSB Platform, University Forum, Election Committees and Education Committees to strengthen each other. Additionally, we bond with other student representative parties, like SAM, Front and Active TSB to better represent the TSB students. Besides all these connections we host the International Advisory Group to really get to know what is important for international students and what can be done to fulfill their needs. At last, we organize annual drinks to get to know the study associations and parties of TSB better, which makes the collaboration more smoothly.

“Let people excel by providing support"
To make sure that students can excel themselves, we discuss, give advice and improve documents from the School Council. These documents influence how education is organised for students. Furthermore, we provide faculty wide input towards associations within TSB. We also think it is very important to support the international students so, we are creating a manual on housing, studying and living in the Netherlands. Finally, if students have faculty related questions, they can always reach out to us and we will answer their questions.

“Enhancing transparency”
Communication is the key to successfully cooperate and staying informed. We proactively seek the opinion of the TSB students through our social media channels by asking about their opinions on certain topics and we also keep them informed about what is discussed in the School Council. Furthermore, we also listen to other things students have on their minds, act upon it and give back the results.

“Guarding and improving the quality of education”
Quality of education has always been one of the most important points of the School Council. We collaborate with the education committees to preserve and improve the quality of education, for example by reviewing the course evaluations of the students. Besides that, we are also working to improve the labour market relevance of courses, so that students are better prepared for their future jobs. During the School Council meetings we discuss topics with the Management Team like the Annual Plan, Budget, Quality Agreement and Language Consistency. Do you want to stay informed about everything that happens within the TSB? Do you want to be represented as well as possible and know who you should approach with all types of issues? Give us a like and feel free to contact us whenever you want!

DO YOU LIKE PROACTIVE PEOPLE?

Daria - Chair of Stimulus

This year we achieved a lot:

Petition against last-grade-count and changes in EER—raised awareness and sparked debate. Collaborating with the School Councils and the Management Team, better regulations emerged for student involvement in EER revision

Budget cuts—we kept you updated, protested, did testimonials, acted to protect education—organizing forums to find the core of University for students. We submitted suggestions to the Management. Our document is considered in the decision-making process

Strived for Mental Health of students, collaborating with Vita Tilburg—the Developmental Walk-ins

Improved Neurarcane, our neuroscience association, creating opportunities for students to boost their CVs and acquire skills

My name is Noelle and I’m running for the School Council as Vice-Chairman of Student Party Stimulus.

My views can be summed up by this simple, yet true statement, I am a pro-student candidate striving for a pro-student university.

This means that I would like to contribute to Tilburg University’s endeavor to be on student’s side, allowing them to better themselves and foster a safe environment for everyone.

This year I was a volunteer, teaching fellow students one of the difficult biology courses, but the proactive iniatives can’t stem only from small student organisations, but from the system.

That’s why I’m running for student council, to make a real and systemic change for the students.

Next year, more initiatives for students and listening to your needs. The change starts now.

Dear TSB students,

My name is Ilinca-Brianna, Bri for short. I’m a first-year Psychology student in the English track, and next year, I’ll take on the role of External Relations Coordinator in the Board of Student Party Stimulus.

This past year, I moved abroad at 18, started my dream university, met amazing people, and engaged in volunteer work to support students like you! Tilburg University has helped me grow more than expected, and now I want to give back to the community by representing you in the Student Council of TSB!

My focus next year will be Student Quality of Life—making TSB programs more student-friendly and improving academic support. I’ll ensure better collaboration between associations to bring you exciting activities and, most importantly, make sure your voices are heard!

My name is Denisa and I am a third year BSc student majoring in clinical psychology with a minor in social psychology. I am excited to be the Secretary & Treasurer of Student Party Stimulus for next year!

I joined Stimulus because I genuinely care about student well-being and believe that student voices matter. I’ve always wanted to be part of a team that works actively to make university life better, and I saw in Stimulus a space where I could contribute meaningfully through organization, action, and advocacy.

As a team, I want us to focus on building an inclusive, supportive campus where everyone feels seen and heard. I want us to push for transparency in budget decisions, and more opportunities for students to grow academically and personally

My journey so far has been shaped by my enthusiasm for research and my drive to create meaningful connections with other people. Through my past experiences, from working in Neurarcane’s PR team to assisting in PhD academic research, I have honed my organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

I believe that every student deserves opportunities for growth and development. My goal is to help create an environment where you feel supported, informed, and empowered to take charge of your future.

Hello, everyone!

My name is Alexia Mărgineanu and I am a third-year Psychology student. After being part of the Stimulus board for a year, I decided to go for another round for 2025-2026!

A little bit about myself: I will be doing a double master’s at Tilburg University (IDA and Clinical Neuropsychology). I am really passionate about the things that I love, no matter if it’s academic work, cooking or traveling, and, by being part of the Student Party Stimulus, I became involved in the internal and external issues students are dealing with.

Previous experience in this party has taught me how making your voice heard makes a difference. And that is exactly why I am your candidate for the TSB Faculty Council. My main focus is making sure that the problems you are signaling to us are not left unseen or unheard. By participating in the Program Committee meetings, I make sure our party is up to date with all the current affairs, and I bring up your issues.

As an international student, I understand how difficult it might be to know your rights or to make your voice heard and that is why I believe it is important that you have someone to count on, no matter if it’s a problem related to mental health or something related to your studies.

I would love to represent your voices in the student council during the next academic year!

Hey everyone, I’m Wednesday!
I’m your candidate for TSB Faculty school council with the Student Party – Stimulus. I care about the issues that affect us— budget cuts, mental health

As an international student, I know how tough it can be to adjust— I want to stand up for better support, more resources, and a campus that feels inclusive for Internationals.

With ongoing budget cuts, we face reductions in essential student services, academic resources.Together with the faculty, we strive to make the best decisions for our education.

Mental health is just as important as academics, and getting help shouldn’t be complicated. If you believe in these things too, I’d love your support. Let’s work on this together!
