Harvard National Model United Nations 2023 was a massive success!! UUMUN is delighted to announce that we won 4 prizes at the conference!!

After months of training, the 18th delegation of UUMUN attended the second MUN of the year at from the 16th-19th of February. In four highly intense days, our delegates showed brilliant strength in all the diplomatic aspects possible. The participants were blown away by fierce speeches and excellent lobby strategies by our champions from ‘t Sticht. All is not possible without the amazing intellectual support of our beloved faculty advisors & Sophie Borchard - helping us to reach our desired caffeine level during the entire conference 😉.

What an experience it has been! We want to thank all our partners & sponsors who made this journey possible and unforgettable!

✨UUMUN Talks: India’s Decade?✨ Last month UUMUN hosted the UUMUN Talks at the Academiegebouw for students interested in India. We focussed on the current geopolitical situation, the past, present and future and the energy transition. We welcomed Fons Stoelinga, former Dutch ambassador to India, and Akash Ramnath, Clingendael researcher. We very much enjoyed the interactive elements of the event as well as all the questions asked by the participants. We would like to thank .ufonds and the speakers for making this event possible.

We enjoyed the conference and are thrilled to have received three prizes and two honourable mentions! We will now unwind during dinner and during punting tomorrow, before we head back to Utrecht by train again. See you next year Oxford!
