MeMO MeMO (Medieval Memoria Online) carries out research into the commemoration of the dead during the period up to the Reformation (c. 1580) in the Netherlands

This project aims to help scholars in carrying out research into the commemoration of the dead (memoria) during the period up to the Reformation (c. 1580) in the area that is the present-day country of The Netherlands. The results are also intended for local historians, genealogists and heraldists, museum curators, teachers, pupils and students, and the general public with an interest in history,

art and culture. In addition to a user-friendly database, the MeMO team has completed many other products, some with background information and some with research tools that may help in memoria research.
