Hi everyone! The UU is looking for a TA if anyone is interested:

We are looking for some teaching assistant (TA) for our Applied Data Science course INFOMSDASM

Starting on the 15th of November 2022 till January 2023 at Utrecht University.

We would need some technically savvy person as a student support for practicals in this course who can master Python and QGIS. Note that it is not required to be able to program on a professional level. Your task is to help data-science students who do not have a GIS background with the practicals using QGIS and Python.
Note: there is also a possibility to join as a non-student TA in case you already have a master degree. Furthermore, we are very flexible with the time frame (could be also only a month or two).

Dear GIMA students! It is our pleasure to invite you to our workshop ‘’What drives and makes your thrive?’’ Let’s start the summer with knowing who you are. We’ll give you insight in what thrives you and what you are naturally good at and how you can use this knowledge. With the result of this analysis you can learn more about yourself in responding to others and others responding to you. This will help you make a better decision for every step in the future. It will also give you insight in which companies suits you best. For example, if you are an extravert and you get energy from people oriented tasks, you might get more energy from a people oriented, small company than a large, corporate business. Learn more about yourself by digging deeper to eventually find out your specialism and achieve your desired job.

Making the personality analysis is recquired in order to have an optimal session.

Steps for completing personality analysis:

1. Go to www.voort.com/boest. Select ‘’Profiel aanmaken’’ on the left at ‘’Ben je de kandidaat?’’.
2. Fill in the basic information about your resumé. The resumé parts and analysis questions are Dutch (unfortunately the analysis is only in Dutch at the moment).
3. It is required to complete all resumé components to start the personality analysis.
4. Start personality analysis.
5. Preferably finish the questions within 15 minutes, this way the outcome will be your first or natural response.
6. After finishing the analysis, print the result and e-mail it before Tuesday, June 7, 14:00h. to Jessica Vosmeer via [email protected].

If you find trouble filling in the Boest platform, don’t spend too much time on completing your profile on beforehand (uploading your CV, education and work experience). Because the algorhythm is based on only the Dutch market, so it will not recognize international schools or companies. If this is the case, then feel free to just select anything (even if it’s not really your background). Most important is the personality analysis. We will not use the information before the analysis.
