What do you do when you witness street harassment?👇

Cycling home alone after a night out. Sharing your live location. Texting “I’m home” to a friend. For many students, feeling safe on the street is not always a given.

Actie Aletta is an initiative about women’s safety, travelling across major student cities in the Netherlands. This week, the first edition took place in Utrecht. 🙌

A thought-provoking evening with Mayor Sharon Dijksma, Annemarie Lekkerkerk, students, researchers, experts and civil society organisations discussed the causes of street harassment and possible solutions. Because the freedom and safety of women is a responsibility we share together.
