Dear Stormers💚,

Last week, during the Annual General Meeting, our time as the 33rd Board officially came to an end. This past year has been filled with unforgettable events, exciting trips, and countless wonderful moments shared with all of you. We truly feel grateful to have had the chance to be part of it 🤩. It has been an incredible experience to lead and grow alongside you. We’ve laughed, worked hard, and created memories that we will always hold close. Thank you all for your trust, support, and energy—you made this year unforgettable!

Now, it’s time for Selenium to step in. We have full confidence that they will bring new energy and fresh ideas to the association. We know they’ll do an amazing job, and we can’t wait to see all the exciting things they will accomplish!

So, once again, thank you for an incredible year. Here’s to the future of this wonderful association, and good luck to Selenium—we wish you nothing but success! ☺

Summer has flown by and the new year has already started again 🤩

My name is Noah (he/him) and I will be your next Commissioner of Internal Affairs 😎 You might know me from jumping for Ton together on Crossing Borders, or from other fun activities. I am always in the mood for joking around and if you want to lose a game of table football, you can also always ask🤩

If you don’t know me here’s a little bit about myself. I am from the beautiful Deventer🤘 where I play football. Next to that, I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my friends while making music, playing games or enjoying an occasional beer.

My name is Kirsten (she/her) and I am very excited to become part of the 34th board of Storm as the commissioner of External Affairs! 🤩 You might know me from Storm’s events, the Storm room, or the Lectures and Excursion Committee, with my personal highlight, the Symposium!✨
I am a 21 year old second year GSS student from a beautiful town on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, Leersum 🏡. I love to hang out with friends, play board- and card games, dance the night away, or cooking, which may or may not turn out well :)

I hope to see you next year at Storm’s fun events or in the Storm room to lose a game of take 5 or win a game of table football! 😀

Heyhey Stormers!!

I’m David (He/Him), and i am very excited to be Storm’s next Comissioner of Educational Affairs📚. I’m a first years GSS student, and over the past year i’ve enjoyed a lot of Storms great activities. You might have seen me at some of the amazing Sports and Games events i helped organise this year, or just in general at other events or in the Storm room.

In my limited free time, i like to go bouldering, sailing or make music. I also really enjoy playing games, so feel free to challenge me to a game of table football or guess who.

Hey Ho Stormers,

I’m Ole (he/him) or Bob but that is a story for another time. I will be your treasurer next year so get ready for a financial catastrophe within Storm ⛈️ 💳. As first year GGS’er I have become quite active so you might have seen me in the Storm room or at some amazing Sports and Games activties💚.

Some things about me, I am from Amsterdam, our shining beautiful capital (Some might tell you it is not, don’t believe them 🙂). I am 20 Years old and can’t wait for next year. Furthermore I play field hockey 🏑, Like to cook 🧑‍🍳, Although this can get better. I have a cat called ‘Koetje’ 🐈, which is Dutch for Cow, very creative name I know. Lastly I am not against a drink or a night out. (These don’t end well according to some people, again don’t believe them 👏)

I am very excited to be part of the 34th board of Storm and i hope to see you all in the Storm room and at events ❤️‍🔥.

Some facts about me, I am originally from The Hague, a big seaside city in The Netherlands.🌊 For the past year, I have been living in De Bilt (this is where all the cool people live😎). I am 21 years old and currently a 2nd year GSS’er, but already can’t wait for all the things I will get to experience next year! Lastly, I love to cook🌯, walk with my dogs🐾🌱, and go out with my friends (obviously to Poema🐆), but please don’t let me drink anything other than beer or I’ll be way too hungover the morning after.🍻

Me and the rest of Selenium can’t wait to give you the student experience of a lifetime this upcoming year!💚

I'm Arne (he/him), and will become the chair of the 34th board, Selenium! I am in my second year of GSS and have decided to take an extra year to represent our amazing association💚 You may have seen me on the sailing weekends, crossing border trips, parties, or in the Storm room!

A little about myself, I am 19 years old, and Dutch, but have lived in Hungary, the US and Switzerland aswell, therefore I consider myself half international 😉Besides Storm I have also been a member of the Basketball Association, enjoy hanging out with my housemates, thrifting, and going out to Poema!

I'm super excited for next year and will make it my goal to make your student experience unforgettable!

A variety of initiatives will be present that you can talk to, and who can tell you all about the things they do 🍃🙌. At the beginning, *Liset Meddens (CEO and founder of Fossilfree NL)* will give a short talk about the creating of an impactful movement! 🤔🤩
