Purpose of the job
Take care of the correct deployments of finished products between factories and warehouses within the European network to ensure the minimum required stock per location against the lowest possible costs.
Result areas / key accountabilities
Issue deployment planning
Take care for a weekly planning (on day level) of deployments based on actual stocks, known sales forecasts and orders, production planning and storage capacities to minimize unnecessary movements of products. From production facilities in Holland and Belgium to external warehouses in Holland, Belgium and France. From external warehouses in Holland and Belgium to external warehouses in France, Belgium and Holland for products produced by Dutch and Belgium factories. Send out this weekly planning in time to all warehouses and carriers involved to inform them about our deployment plan so that they can anticipate.
Take care of the daily deployments of the Dutch factories. Define and process deployment needs from Lewedorp and Lelystad based on received information from the Coldstore Lewedorp and Lelystad. Define and process deployment needs from external warehouses in Holland and Belgium to Holland, Belgium and France based on actual stocks, known sales forecast and orders.
Arrange transport
Contact transport companies (which companies are defined by Logistic Manager Continental Europe and assigned for specific lanes) on a daily base and agree with them on a loading- and unloading schedule for the planned deployments at the correct place and time.
Monitor deployment planning
Daily monitor the weekly planned deployments versus current: stock, production planning, known sales forecast and orders and change, if necessary, daily/weekly deployment plan to ensure correct transfer of products. If necessary keep carriers and warehouses updated in time at significant changes.
Monitor deployments
Daily follow up the status of the planned and realized deployments in the McCain-system to ensure correct stock- and availability figures of the finished products. Update status of deployment orders if necessary.
Administration
Invoice control: check and approve invoices, which cannot be approved automatically by BPO, from carriers and future ones to come for transport- and related costs of deployments. Check and approve invoices of cheppallets for rental pallets.
Pallets: Monthly monitor the outstanding europallets for the NEU plants. And create a total report for the NEU/SEU plants. Details for the SEU plants are given by France. This report is sent to the logistic project manager to further process.
We are looking for a candidate who:
• Have a bachelor degree in Logistics.
• Have analytical, accuracy and communication (Dutch and English, speak, read & write) skills.
• Familiair is with SAP.
• Is ASAP and fulltime available.
