What better way to kick off the fall break than to read about Samantha’s traveling while studying at ACN? 🤩

Samantha writes:

Hi! My name is Samantha, and I studied at ACN this past summer! My time at ACN was such an amazing experience, and I loved getting to live in Norway, experience the culture, and meet so many amazing people.

One of the best parts is that the travel doesn’t have to end when the program does! After my time at ACN, I continued my adventure and traveled to Tromsø and Bergen in Norway, as well as Stockholm, Paris, and Amsterdam.

Studying at ACN gave me so many incredible memories, friendships, and opportunities to see places I had always dreamed of visiting.

I’m so grateful for the experience and would recommend it over and over again!

In our latest Summer School Stories feature, Lucas (University of North Dakota) shares what it was like spending Summer 2026 at the American College of Norway in Moss.

From exploring Oslo on school-led excursions and discovering local history in Tønsberg to taking advantage of 3-day weekends to visit Denmark, Sweden, and Germany, Lucas made the absolute most of his time at ACN.

"While I was abroad, I got to travel to places both in Norway and in countries surrounding it! I went to countries like Denmark, Sweden, and even Germany. For places in Norway though I went to this town called Tønsberg and it was probably my favorite place I went over my whole time in the country."
