Greenhouse Center for Environmental Humanities at University of Stavanger The Greenhouse Center for Environmental Humanities is a research center at University of Stavanger.

Welcome to The Greenhouse Center for Environmental Humanities at University of Stavanger, a research center co-directed by Dolly Jørgensen and Finn Arne Jørgensen. We have a vision of creating a space in which environmental humanities of all kinds can root, sprout, and bear fruit, which makes The Greenhouse a perfect name for our initiative. We also want The Greenhouse to highlight the intertwined existence of humans and nonhuman nature, just as plants and people co-exist in a greenhouse setting. This page is intended for highlighting upcoming events organized by The Greenhouse. If you are interested in joining the group — whether you work in Stavanger and want to be a regular participant or you work elsewhere and would like to join us in Stavanger for a research stay or short visit — email us at [email protected]

Welcome to the Greenhouse

Welcome to The Greenhouse, a new Environmental Humanities Initiative at the University of Stavanger organised by Dolly and Finn Arne Jørgensen! This page is intended for highlighting upcoming events organized by The Greenhouse, but will also feature environmental humanities news from across the world. If you are interested in joining the group — whether you work in Stavanger and want to be a regular participant or you work elsewhere and would like to join us in Stavanger for a research stay or short visit — email Dolly ([email protected]) or Finn Arne ([email protected]).
