Tết Trung Thu 🌕🏮🥮

On October 17th, we’re finally celebrating Tết Trung Thu, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival! 🌕 This is a traditional Vietnamese celebration and an important tradition here at VSAiT.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a great opportunity to experience Vietnamese culture – whether it feels like a little piece of home or something completely new to you ☺️There will be lots of fun activities throughout the evening!

🧠 Quiz, fun challenges and prizes

🏮 Make your own lantern, a classic part of Tết Trung Thu

🥢 Vietnamese buffet with lots of delicious food, so come hungry and eat your fill 😋

🍰 Dessert, soft drinks and snacks: Get the chance to try chè Thái and bánh trung thu 🥮

⚠️ Alcohol rules!
- You are allowed to bring your own alcohol, but alcohol will not be served at the event.
- It is strictly prohibited to take alcohol outside the venue. If this rule is broken, there will be a NOK 2,000 fine. ❗️

👗 Dress code
Feel free to dress up a little extra for the occasion! If you have an áo dài, that’s of course perfect ❤️ Otherwise, a nice dress, suit, or any other dressed-up outfit is also more than welcome!

🎟️ Registration and ticket
You do not need to be a VSAiT member to attend Tết Trung Thu, but you must have an account registered on the VSAiT website and sign up for the event there.

To purchase your entrance ticket, search for VSAiT on Vipps and pay for the ticket called «Entrance fee: Tết».

Remember to have your ticket available! All tickets will be checked at the entrance. 🥰

A huge thank you to all our members who came and made the evening so much fun! 🥰 We had such a cozy night with gameshow and gỏi cuốn, naaaam 🤤

It was so much fun seeing everyone compete, cheer each other on, and of course, some people taking the competition a little too seriously 👀😂

🎲🍿Origami og spill kveld✉️♟
På onsdag skal vi ha en casual origami og spill kveld, Dette er et lavterskel arrangement, så det er bare å komme innom om du har tid, trenger ikke å være meldt på.
Det som lages i origami skal brukes til å pynte under månefestivalen, så det er veldig hyggelig om folk ønsker å bidra.
Det blir som alltid snacks og brus, men ingen mat utover det.

🎲🍿Origami and game night✉️♟
On Wednesday we will be having a casual origami ang game night. This is a low-threshold event, som you can join in if you have time, you dont need to sign up in advance.
The origami this that we make will be used to decorate under the moonfestival, som it would be very nice if you too could contribute.
There will be snacks and soda, but noe food beyond that.
