A day field visit to Hetauda Industrial state, Makawanpur gadi and Sahid smarak Park by Students of Grade 11(Management)
Our recent field visit was an enriching blend of industrial insight and historical exploration for the Grade 11 students of Greenland Public School. The journey began at the Antartic Biscuit Factory, where students observed the large-scale production process, gaining a practical understanding of industrial management and food technology.
Highlights of the Trip
• Antartic Biscuit Factory: Students witnessed the end-to-end manufacturing cycle, from raw material processing to automated packaging, bridging the gap between textbook commerce and real-world operations.
• Makawanpur Gadi: This visit to the historic fort offered a deep dive into Nepal’s courageous past. Standing amidst the ancient stone walls, students reflected on the strategic military significance of the site during the unification era.
• Sahid Smarak Park: The trip concluded at this beautifully landscaped memorial in Hetauda. It provided a serene environment for students to pay their respects to the martyrs and enjoy the botanical diversity and sculptural art within the park.
This excursion successfully integrated vocational learning with cultural heritage, leaving the students with lasting memories and a broader perspective on their local industries and history.
