In spite of poor infrastructures in the country, some rays of hopes are shining in the present days to develop the nation. Civil services like construction of roads, bridges, buildings, ropeways, hospitals, hydropower, etc should be catching up the pace in the nation. To materialize the structures needed, we need to attempt to produce human resources to cope with the catch up with the technologies
of 21st century. Initially, engineering graduates were produced by Tribhuwan University, Purvanchal University, Pokhara University and Kathmandu University . The liberal policy adopted by the government has facilitated to involve the private sector to produce different human resources on engineering field within the country . Despite of that efforts made by these institutions, the need of engineering graduates in different level are to be increased in home and abroad . Taking an account to this fact, United Technical College has been established to produce different level of engineering graduates from bachelors to masters level of engineering with different discipline.
