Reinforcing its commitment to global engagement, Galgotias University hosted the distinguished leadership of Universidad Austral, Dr. Julian Rodríguez and Dr. Emilio Lopez Gabeiras, for a strategic interaction centered on advancing international academic collaborations, joint research initiatives, and student exchange opportunities. Fidelity International At Galgotias University | A Day Of Career Insights & Future Collaboration
It was a great privilege to host Fidelity International at the Galgotias University campus. The visit facilitated a wonderful and insightful interaction with the management, professors, and students, opening doors to explore new avenues for future collaboration.
The key highlight of the day was the fireside chat session, where the young talents of the university engaged in an inspiring discussion with Mr. Shaun Meekins, Global Early Careers Recruitment Lead and LGBTQ+ Global Comms Lead, Fidelity International. Students enthusiastically interacted with him, gaining valuable insights into career opportunities and growth at Fidelity International, along with practical guidance on overall career planning, industry expectations, and long-term professional development.

Project Sanctioned: ₹42 Lakhs Research Grant | TIH-IoT (IIT Bombay) Support
Galgotias University is pleased to announce that a research project titled “Development of Intelligent Ripening Detector for Mango and Watermelon” has been sanctioned with a total funding of ₹42 Lakhs under the TIH-IoT Technology Development Program (TDP). The project is funded by TIH-IoT, a not-for-profit Section 8 company established at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NMICPS), implemented by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. This project will be carried out by Dr. Agniv Tapadar, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Galgotias University, with the objective of developing a cost-effective, portable, and intelligent ripening detection system to identify ripening stages and detect artificial ripening in multiple species of mango and watermelon using intrinsic impedance sensing and a novel sensor-based approach.
