With the theme, “𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐓𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐭”, "Mister and Miss SPA" is a beauty pageant competition to showcase the talent, intelligence, and personality of the students. We plan to organize the event annually to promote and celebrate the achievements and accomplishments of the college and choose the brand ambassadors of the college.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬
𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 "𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐏𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟖𝟎" 𝐚𝐫𝐞:
Celebrating academic excellence: The event aims to celebrate the academic achievements of the students and provide them with a platform to showcase their academic prowess. Encouraging extracurricular activities: The competition provides an opportunity for students to showcase their talents in areas such as public speaking, performing arts, and drama. Promoting leadership skills: The contestants are expected to demonstrate leadership qualities, such as confidence, charisma, and communication skills. Building confidence and self-esteem: By participating in the competition, students can develop their confidence and self-esteem, which can help them personally and professionally. Fostering community spirit: The event can also help foster a sense of community spirit among the students, as they come together to support and celebrate their peers and the community.
𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬:
Contestants: The competition is open to all college students who meet the eligibility criteria, such as age, academic standing, and good conduct. The number of contestants will be limited to 15 boys and 15 girls for the event date. Judging Criteria: The contestants will be judged on their performance in several categories, including performance, talent, confidence, intelligence, personality, and physical appearance. Prizes: The winners of the competition will receive scholarships and will be crowned Mister and Miss SPA 2080. Students will also win different scholarships and discounts for IELTS/TOEFL classes, language classes, gym, swimming, music, dance, and make-up. Event Program: The event program will include the following segments:

Question and answer round
Cultural round
Announcement of winners
The event will be accompanied by a historical cultural play, “Shakuntala”. 𝗦𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺, 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗰 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝘂𝘀𝗵𝘆𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗮. Abhigyan Shakuntalam is an excellent drama by Mahakavi Kalidas. This tale of two people in love has been told in an artistic manner. It is a visual representation of the emotions that people experience. Every single word of it is the music that is produced by the Veena. The play starts with the birth of Shakuntala, a lovechild of Menaka and Vishwamitra. She is described as ‘an orphan despite being the daughter of an Apsara.’
For the first time, a grand representation of Dushyant-Shakuntala’s love story will be seen on the theatre stage with classical dance, music, and many more.
𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
1. He/she must be a recent student at SPA College. Only Grades 11, 12, and Bachelor's Level can participate. If you are appearing in Grade 12 examinations, you must confirm to join the bachelor's level at SPA College only.
2. He/she must be enthusiastic and self-motivated to participate.
3. He/she cannot skip the event once he/she is enrolled. (Certain penalties would be charged if missed in between.)
5. Application Form Fee 200/- must be paid with the form.
6. Two Passport Size Photographs.

It aims at grooming the students by sensitising them about proper behaviour, socially and professionally, in both formal and informal circumstances through various motivational classes, training sessions, seminars, and presentations.
