Confession #249

Kathmandu University is widely regarded as one of Nepal's leading universities because of its strong emphasis on quality education, research, and maintaining a relatively consistent academic calendar.

This reputation has made Kathmandu University one of the most sought-after institutions in Nepal, especially for engineering, medicine, management, and science programs.

Confession #24:
The party of KU that needs to be improved:

- No quality education: You will be taught with recycled and outdated slides where you will be contemplating on how to sit patiently in a 2 hour class.
- No networking opportunity: All the classmates are equally clueless as you. You will either have to be bootlicking a professor. The concept of alumni network doesn't exist.
- No industry exposure: They sign a tons of MOU but idk where it goes. Go any program or career counseling during the studies and only time it happens is during a club's annual event where students themselves invite speakers.
- Lack of Career prospects: You are expected to find internship on your own. If you may not find internship sometimes dept labs offer you which are even worse and exploitative. Different dept are on the verge of changing internship requirement to thesis seeing the current job market.
- No learning environment: most likely you will be going out with friends and its either that or you will be left out for not participating
- No resources and facilities: library packed xa, khana khane thau xaina. lab haru ma euta working samaan xaina. Sports ko ta kura ni ka garau.
- Doesn't listens to students concerns: aba yo ta k kura garam, kahi su***de attempt dekhi, harassment ko case samma, ajha bullying pani jati incident vaye ni khasai wasta hudaina, tei "setting" miyalo kura bilauxa.
