Chitkara University Signs MoU with Bonum Lex to Strengthen Industry-Oriented Legal Education

Chitkara University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bonum Lex for Chitkara Law School, marking another significant step towards strengthening industry-oriented legal education and enhancing practical learning opportunities for students.

Facilitated as an initiative by Career Advancement Services (Law), this collaboration aims to promote experiential learning through internships, workshops, seminars, legal research initiatives, mentorship opportunities, and industry interaction programmes, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world legal practice.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Senior Partners R. K. Naroola and Udayan Mukerji, along with Partner Designate Jaya Pahwa from Bonum Lex.

Through this association, students of Chitkara Law School will gain valuable exposure to practical legal processes and professional work environments while developing industry-relevant skills and insights from experienced legal practitioners.

Tiny tots of Chicklets at Chitkara International School enhance fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination, and social interaction through a creative “Pasta Threading Activity”

At Chitkara International School, students of Chicklets were engaged in a creative and enjoyable life skills activity titled “Pasta Threading Activity”. Seated together in a circle, they participated in a warm and interactive learning environment that encouraged collaboration and shared experiences. During the session, students carefully threaded pasta pieces onto strings, demonstrating focus, patience, and enthusiasm throughout the task. This hands-on activity provided learners with an opportunity to explore learning through play while strengthening their fine motor skills, finger grip, and hand–eye coordination. It also enhanced their concentration and attention span, while encouraging problem-solving, perseverance, and independent task completion.

By combining creativity with skill-based learning, Chitkara International School continues to transform simple activities into meaningful educational experiences, fostering confidence, cooperation, and essential life skills among students.

Chitkara International School students explore Arduino-Based Chasing Lights at Tinkering Talkies (Atal Tinkering Lab) using the Tinkercad platform

Students at Chitkara International School enthusiastically participated in an engaging Arduino-based activity on Chasing Lights at Tinkering Talkies (Atal Tinkering Lab) using the Tinkercad platform. The interactive session was designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of electronics, circuit designing, and coding through the creation of sequential lighting patterns using Arduino technology. During the activity, students successfully assembled functional circuits using an Arduino Uno, bulbs, resistors, breadboard, and jumper wires. They further explored coding commands to create captivating chasing light effects by controlling the blinking sequence and timing of multiple bulbs. This practical exercise enabled learners to understand how programming and electronic components work together in real-world automation and lighting systems. The activity greatly strengthened students’ conceptual understanding while enhancing their logical reasoning, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. It also nurtured technical confidence as learners actively engaged in coding, experimentation, and innovation through hands-on learning experiences.

NEXORA’26 | Idea to Impact

Innovation, research, and entrepreneurship took center stage at NEXORA’26 – A Next Gen Research, Innovation and Business Ideation Workshop, successfully organized at Chitkara School of Pharmacy, Chitkara University.

The two-day workshop provided students with a dynamic platform to explore startup ecosystems, AI-driven innovations, healthcare solutions, sustainability-focused business models, and research-led entrepreneurship through engaging sessions, interactive activities, and the exciting Pitch-a-thon Nexora’26.

From solving real-world challenges and building startups under budget constraints to presenting futuristic business ideas before expert judges, participants showcased remarkable creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial spirit.

The Pitch-a-thon “Nexora’26” celebrated innovative startup ideas and entrepreneurial excellence, with Netra AI and MedBrain securing 1st position, CodeSure and AquaVortex Innovator winning 2nd position, and MedRx along with NextGen Innovators securing 3rd position.

NEXORA’26 successfully reflected the spirit of innovation and experiential learning at Chitkara University, empowering students to transform ideas into impactful entrepreneurial possibilities.
