On the occasion of World Environment Day, School of Environmental Science and Management, in collaboration with Central College, successfully organized a Public Speaking Competition on June 5.

The event brought together ten talented participants—five selected students from SchEMS College and five from Central College—who showcased their knowledge, confidence, and communication skills while speaking on thought-provoking topics related to Artificial Intelligence, Environment, and Entrepreneurship.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our respected judges for their valuable time and insightful evaluations. We would also like to thank our media partner TV Today HD, distinguished guests, dedicated volunteers, and everyone who contributed to making this event a success.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants! Standing before an audience and sharing your ideas requires confidence, preparation, and courage. Your outstanding performances made the competition both inspiring and memorable.

We look forward to strengthening our partnership with Central College and organizing many more impactful and engaging events together in the future.

🌍 World Environment Day 2026 🌱

Today, on the occasion of World Environment Day, SchEMS College proudly organized a community cleanliness campaign to promote environmental awareness and responsible citizenship.

Equipped with brooms and traditional wooden dustbins (Doko), our students marched through the neighborhood streets, collecting plastic waste and other non-biodegradable materials that harm the environment. Through this initiative, they demonstrated the importance of maintaining clean surroundings and taking collective responsibility for the well-being of our communities.

This activity was more than just a cleanup campaign—it was a reminder that small actions, when taken together, can create a significant positive impact on our environment. We are proud of our students for leading by example and showing their commitment to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.

Let's continue to protect our environment, reduce pollution, and inspire positive change in our communities.
