Himalayan WhiteHouse International College, Putalisadak organized a real-time learning session on the Combi-Oven, a multifunctional cooking appliance widely used in modern professional kitchens. The session was managed and facilitated by G*i Equipments Pvt. Ltd.
During the session, students were introduced to the three primary functions of the combi-ovenβconvection (dry heat), steam (moist heat), and combination cooking. Technical expert and Chef demonstrated live session on how to operate the oven, set cooking programs, adjust humidity and temperature, and apply various modes for different food items such as baked goods, steamed vegetables, and roasted meats.
The hands-on experience allowed students to:
Understand the technical operation and user interface of the combi-oven.
Learn about energy efficiency, food consistency, and kitchen productivity.
Observe and practice safe handling, routine maintenance, and cleaning cycles.
This collaborative session effectively bridged the gap between classroom theory and real-world culinary practice, enhancing students' competence with modern commercial kitchen equipment.
