Celebrating Transition and Legacy at SOMTU Research and Publication💙

SOMTU Research and Publication successfully held a momentous Batch Distribution and Recognition Program on November 9, 2025. This event was a significant occasion to formally welcome our new members and to deeply recognize the invaluable contributions of the past executive members who were fundamental to the club's foundation.
The program was chaired by our esteemed Deputy Director, Asst. Prof. Phul Prasad Subedi. We were honored by the presence of past executive member and supporter, Mr. Sagar Thapa, who also shared insightful remarks. The formal proceedings were smoothly led by Ms. Sophia Bista, as the Master of Ceremony, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Pratikshya Bhandari.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all the 2025 Executive Members and General Members for their active participation.

A special note of recognition and appreciation goes out to our other founding executive members Pradip Parajuli, Prithivi Singh Bogati, Nischal Bhattarai, Pooja Singh, and Deepika Neupane whose profound insights and contributions were invaluable and their legacy remains a vital part of our club's story.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this transition and recognition a success. We look forward to an exciting future and continuing to build on the strong foundation laid by our predecessors!

The School of Management, Tribhuvan University, proudly announces the 2nd SOMTU Graduate Conference, now rescheduled for 22nd November 2025.

Graduate scholars who have completed their thesis and defense are invited to submit their abstracts and present their research. Selected papers will receive publication support, and all presenters will be awarded a Certificate of Presentation.

Abstract Submission Deadline: 15th November 2025
Registration Fee (Non-SOMTU participants): NRs. 1000

We regret to inform you that the 2nd SOMTU Graduate Conference (GRC), which was scheduled to be held on 12th September 2025, has been postponed until further notice.

This was done with the utmost consideration in the recent tragic loss of lives and ongoing protests. Here and now, we choose remembrance over celebration and togetherness over publicity.

We extend our sincerest condolences to the bereaved families and stand in solidarity with all who have been affected. The rescheduled date will be communicated in due course.

May peace and healing prevail. 🙏
