Day 2:
PRA Field Study at Tigani Community
A meaningful Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) session was successfully conducted at Tigani Community with the Social Work students of St. Lawrence College as part of their field learning and community engagement.
We sincerely express our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Sanukaji Rajbahak, Ward President, Thimi Municipality–Ward No. 9, for his valuable support and encouragement. We would also like to extend our special thanks to Ayusma Rajbahak, President of Yuwa Sanjal Club, and club members Sabina, Sweekriti, and Mina for their active participation, coordination, and support in making the PRA program meaningful and successful.
Special appreciation goes to our facilitator, Mr. Bidur Niraoula Sir, for his guidance, facilitation, and valuable contribution to enhancing students’ practical knowledge and understanding of community-based social work.
Such field-based learning provides Social Work students with an opportunity to connect classroom knowledge with real community experiences, strengthen participatory skills, and understand communities from a social work perspective.
Thank you community members for your valuable support and collaboration.
