HAPPY CHARAKA JAYANTI
On the auspicious occasion of Charaka Jayanti, we respectfully pay homage to Acharya Charaka, one of the most revered physicians and eminent scholars in the history of Ayurveda.

Acharya Charaka is renowned for his profound contributions to Ayurvedic medicine, diagnosis, therapeutics, preventive healthcare, and clinical practice. His teachings are principally preserved in the Charaka Samhita, one of the foundational classical texts of Ayurveda, originally based on the teachings of Acharya Agnivesha.

The Charaka Samhita presents a comprehensive approach to health and disease, emphasizing Dosha, Dhatu, Mala, Agni, Prakriti, Ahara, Vihara, Nidana, Chikitsa, and individualized patient care. It also highlights the importance of a balanced relationship between the individual, lifestyle, environment, and society.

Acharya Charaka’s timeless principles continue to guide the Ayurvedic fraternity in promoting health, preventing disease, and providing rational and holistic care.
“हिताहितं सुखं दुःखमायुस्तस्य हिताहितम् ।
मानं च तच्च यत्रोक्तमायुर्वेदः स उच्यते ॥”
