Nepal Association of University Women Nepal Association of University Women (NAUW) is a non profit, non political, organization working for empowerment of women by women.

National Association of University Women (NAUW) Is a nonprofit, non-governmental and non-political organization of university graduate women established in July 5, 1991 with a mission to work for women by women. It is affiliated with the International Federation of University Women (IFUW) now called GWI (Global Women Initiatives) based in Geneva, Switzerland, having the same ideals and principles

. GWI was established in 1919 after the First World War by women graduates from Canada, Great Britain and United States to develop international friendship, cooperation and peace. The main objective of the Nepal Association of University Women (NAUW) is empowerment of women through education, income generation, awareness raising and capacity building.The organization’s executive committee consists of 7 members all working on voluntary basis. There are presently approximately 50 general members from different walks of life associated with the organization.
