On 7th Jan 2026, Dr. Tenzin Dharke, Director of Sowa Rigpa International College had meeting with Dr. Sudha Gautam, Health Minister, Ministry of Health and Population, and Dr. Bikash Devkota, Secretary- Ministry of Health and Population on the related Sowa Rigpa activities in Nepal, such as further development of Sowa Rigpa and increment of annual budget from govt.
He introduced Four Ta**ra text of Sowa Rigpa ༼གསོ་རིག་རྒྱུད་བཞི།༽ and other related Sowa Rigpa text.

A very wonderful moment for many of the Sowa Rigpa International College graduates to conclude the year with a Certificate license for Bachelor in Sowa Rigpa Medicine and Surgery. With generous support from the Nepal Health Professional Council's Board Member- Mr. Mukesh Kumar Jha and Registrar- Mr. Lila Nath Bhandari, Dr. Smriti Singh, along with three main lecturers of Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, and support from Lumbini Buddhist University, we have achieved this great success. Heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed to strengthening and promoting the Sowa Rigpa system in Nepal.
