𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚-𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐂) at Advanced College of Engineering and Management (ACEM) successfully organized a sharing session on “𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠” on Baishakh 17, 2083.

The session was delivered by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐙𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐤𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐜, an accomplished innovator and holder of more than a dozen patents. Drawing upon his extensive experience, he provided valuable insights into the process of transforming innovative ideas into patented technologies and functional prototypes.

Key areas covered during the session included idea development, intellectual property rights, patent filing processes, and effective prototyping strategies. The session offered participants a practical understanding of how innovation can be systematically developed and protected.

CAILIC at ACEM continues to foster innovation, strengthen academia-industry linkages, and promote international collaboration through such impactful initiatives. ACEM extends its sincere gratitude to Mr. Zoran Dujakovic for sharing his valuable insights and expertise.

On Baishakh 16, 2083 (April 29, 2026), the Advanced College of Engineering and Management (ACEM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Godawari Municipality (GMC), Lalitpur, establishing a collaborative framework to enhance practical learning and institutional cooperation.

The agreement is designed to create a mutually beneficial partnership, enabling ACEM students to gain practical exposure through internships, training, and field-based learning, while supporting the municipality with skilled human resources contributing to development initiatives and public service delivery.

Under this collaboration, students will have the opportunity to engage in areas such as public service systems, project planning and implementation, municipal governance, and technical and administrative processes. The partnership also includes exposure to research, data management, engineering, and digital systems within the municipal context.

This initiative reflects ACEM’s commitment to strengthening academia–government collaboration and preparing students for professional practice through meaningful real-world engagement.

When you first meet 𝐄𝐫. 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐚 𝐍𝐞𝐮𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞, you encounter a soft spoken and thoughtful individual. She often says she “overthinks the small things,” yet that very trait helps her make the right big decisions.

It is this quiet confidence that led her to an extraordinary achievement.

She became the 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟕𝟕 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 at the Institute of Engineering (IOE), Tribhuvan University in 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 from the 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐌).

However, if you ask her how she did it, she will not speak about being better than others. Instead, she will tell you about striving to be her best.

Nevertheless, her journey was not easy. Behind the success were late nights filled with worry, days when focus felt impossible, and moments when she felt she had not done enough.

𝐒𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠? She did not wait for motivation. Instead, she chose discipline: early mornings, small targets, and showing up even on the hardest days.

For Er. Rensa, ACEM was more than just a place to study. It became a space where she found laughter, built lifelong friendships, and discovered a balance between academics and life. This environment played a vital role in her steady growth, supported by encouraging faculty, a motivating atmosphere, and friends who made the experience both easier and more meaningful. Even today, she remains grounded outside of work, finding joy in music, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Her journey has come full circle now, a story of consistent effort, self-doubt, and steady growth, as she returns to ACEM not as a student but as a Lab Instructor, guiding the next generation with the same quiet determination that once defined her own path.

Her message to those who feel uncertain is simple yet powerful:
"Doubt might be a part of the journey. Just don’t let it decide your destination."

We’re proud of you, from walking these halls as a student to shaping them as a mentor.

Baishakh 3, 2083: Advanced College of Engineering and Management (ACEM) successfully conducted an enriching session today, with the objective of enhancing knowledge, strengthening academic practices, and fostering innovation through exposure to emerging technologies and industry insights.

The session was organized as part of ACEM’s commitment to continuous professional development and academic excellence.

We were honored to host distinguished speakers Mr. Robert Rocque, CEO/CTO of Digital Twin Tech, a seasoned leader with over two decades of experience in Enterprise SaaS and advanced Digital Twin and Artificial Intelligence solutions, and Mr. Dharm Bahadur Chand, Country Manager for Nepal and India, a prominent figure in Nepal’s technology landscape with extensive experience in AI, Digital Twin technologies, and multidisciplinary industries including education, healthcare, and infrastructure.

The session highlighted the growing significance of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Twin Technology in shaping innovative and sustainable solutions. Moreover, it served as a meaningful platform for knowledge sharing, idea exchange, and capacity building, further enhancing teaching, research, and innovation practices.

Proud moment for the Advanced College of Engineering and Management (ACEM)! Our 4th year Computer Engineering students presented their major project at SpaceCon 2026, Nepal’s largest annual space conference, held on 12th April. The event was conducted by Antarikchya Pratisthan Nepal in collaboration with Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST).

The paper, titled ‘Satellite Attitude Control using Reinforcement Learning and State Space Model’, explores a model-free AI approach to control the orientation of satellites in space under uncertain conditions. The proposed method demonstrated competitive performance when compared with traditional model-based PID controllers. The work, conducted under the supervision of Er. Damodar Pokhrel from Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), offered significant academic and professional exposure beyond the project.

Moreover, the team also gained valuable opportunities to connect and network with researchers and professionals actively working in the space technology domain.
