On the occasion of Law Day, an interactive session on the topic “Rule of Law and Independent Judiciary” was successfully conducted in the gracious presence of the Chief Judge of the Kathmandu District Court, Honorable Chura Mani Khadka. The session highlighted the importance of the rule of law, an independent judiciary, judicial accountability, and contemporary legal issues.

The program became highly effective and meaningful with the active participation of faculty members and students. Through interactive discussions and question-answer sessions, students were able to gain clarity on the topic, understand practical aspects of the judicial system, and enhance their legal perspectives. The session created an engaging learning environment and encouraged students to express their views confidently.

A special note of sincere gratitude to Honorable Judge Chura Mani Khadka for taking valuable time to be present with us, sharing insightful experiences, and making the session informative, interactive, and inspiring for all participants.

Second Year Clinical Visit – District Police Range Lalitpur

As prescribed under the clinical subject syllabus, second-year students attended a field visit to the District Police Range , Lalitpur , to understand investigation and procedural aspects of cases before and after registration.

Officials explained the roles, responsibilities, investigation process, documentation, and coordination involved in handling cases. Students actively interacted, coordinated, and clarified their queries during the session.

This visit provided practical exposure and helped bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world legal procedures.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the team for coordinating so effectively and making the session highly informative and useful for our learning.

The first-year BALLB students had an insightful court visit to the High Court, Patan and District Court, Lalitpur. ⚖️

During the visit, students learned about courtroom procedures by attending the ijlas, observing legal proceedings, listening to arguments (bahas), and understanding how judges conduct hearings, including cross-questioning.

This visit provided valuable practical exposure and helped students understand how legal theories are applied in real judicial practice. 📚
