As every year, the Bon Odori Festival was held this year as well by the Japanese Association (日本人会), bringing together Japanese culture, music, dance, food, and a wonderful atmosphere.
Students had a fantastic time and truly enjoyed the event. Festivals like this provide Japanese language learners with a valuable opportunity to experience and understand Japanese culture, food, traditions, and lifestyle beyond the classroom.
We at Hinode Japanese Language Institute are grateful to have been part of this wonderful event as volunteers through JALTAN member schools. We are happy to contribute to creating opportunities for our students to connect with and experience Japan more closely.

People celebrate by writing their wishes on colorful paper strips called tanzaku and hanging them on bamboo branches, hoping their dreams will come true..
