🚨 - COVID-19 UPDATE - 3 PM 22 August 2021 - 🚨
We learned from ARPHS that a second student tested positive with COVID-19. We have updated information in relation to this case based on ARPHS advice.
Mentioned below are the classes that the student attended. If you were present in these classes and lectures at these times - you are a close contact.
🔶If you are a close contact, you will need to stay home and self-isolate for 14 days, even if you have a negative test result. This isolation period needs to be 14 days from the LAST day you were on campus from the exposure dates above.
🔶You will need to get a COVID-19 test 5 days and 12 days after your last potential contact listed in the table. The test is free. Please give the following code to the testing staff when you visit: TM18SC7. Find your nearest testing centre here.
🔶You should receive a call from the contact tracing service within 1-2 days. If not, please ring Healthline on 0800 358 5433; Healthline is a free, 24/7 service with interpreters available.
🔶Even if you are vaccinated, you must get tested and stay in self-isolation. This is because no vaccine is 100 per cent effective. You may still get infected or pass the virus to others.
You will be contacted if you are identified as a close contact and provided with information about isolating and getting tested. More on cases, contacts and what to do is at the ARHPS Covid-19 information page.
Casual contact information
If you were in other areas of the City Campus, listed below, you are considered a casual contact.
🔷As a casual contact, there is a reduced likelihood that you may become unwell, but you should watch for symptoms of COVID-19.
🔷If you develop symptoms or become unwell you will need to get a test. Phone your GP or Healthline on 0800 358 5453 to arrange this. Tell them you are a casual contact. Self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms for 14 days. If symptoms develop, get a test and stay at home until you get a negative test result AND until 24 hours after symptoms resolve.
If you have concerns about your health, please contact Healthline on 0800 611 116.
Stay in your bubbles, take care.
