UMSA - Union of Malaysian Students in Auckland The Union of Malaysian Students in Auckland (UMSA) is a non-profit Malaysian student-run club affiliated with the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

Our goal is mainly to provide a platform for students to be involved in various social and cultural events and to take part in extra-curricular activities to complement their studies at university. UMSA aims to spread the culture to our fellow Malaysians and non-Malaysians. Moreover, UMSA hopes to make your student life experience a phenomenal journey. We are a community of different people with d

ifferent cultures that each have a unique story that is ready to be shared. UMSA would want to build a sense of unity among the community; to make everyone stand up strong together as one.

Bersatu Games is an annual sports competition for Malaysian students in New Zealand to come together and compete against each other. A rewarding experience where you will have the opportunity to meet fellow Malaysians and establish long lasting friendships.

In preparation for Bersatu, UMSA sport teams will have weekly training sessions (hangout and yap 😉). This is the best part of Bersatu where you will get the chance to build stronger bonds with your teammates after training sessions.
