Hey guys, welcome to our the last activity in 2020, the photography competition!!
We all clearly know this year is extremely tough and difficult for everyone, our lifestyles and future plans just totally messed up because of the Covid-19. During this century pandemic, we change our perspectives about the people and the world, we start to take care our families and friends, and give them much more love than before, we start to realise how important to have a healthy body and still have enough time to talk to someone you love. Everyday, many healthcare workers were killed during this sudden "war", but touching stories kept happening all around us.
Now, the annual photo contest is open again, this time let us explore the world with a new theme, a new perspective!
- Fantastic Angle -
In this photo competition, we will focus on USING DEPRESSION ANGLE ONLY as the theme of our activity, which means you need to use the depression angle to take a photo that suits the theme.
This activity faces to everyone who lives in New Zealand and offshore students in China. Just a reminder, it faces to EVERYONE living in New Zealand, across the North island and South Island. Students, stuffs, or workers from every other nationalities are absolutely welcome. We are looking forward to seeing the works from different wonderful cultures.

Preliminary selection time of works:
21/10-22/10 (Evaluate 30 excellent works into the second round)
Online public voting:
23/10-26/10 (The top 10 will move on to the final round)
Third party judges determine the final ranking:

Photo Requirements:
1. Exhibitors can take photos with film camera, digital camera and high pixel mobile phone.
2. The work should have a prominent theme, unique perspective, positive, healthy and true. It is required that the design should be unique and novel, and the style should conform to the modern aesthetic perspective and creative characteristics.
3. The works can be created and post-produced by computer.
4. Each work must be accompanied by the title of the work, the author, contact information.
PS: Those who want to take aerial photos from a distance should pay attention to New Zealand's regulations on drones.
· Ask if there is a rule against flying drones in the scenic spots. You can take aerial photos impromptu with drones as long as you are in non-prohibited areas. 😊
· In case of shooting in the urban business district, the flight route of aerial photography shall be submitted to the air traffic control department for review on the official website.
Special note: any infringement of others' copyright, right of portrait, right of reputation and any legal disputes arising therefrom shall be borne by the competitors themselves. Upon submission, each participant shall be deemed to have expressly agreed that the Chinese Student Union of Massey University, New Zealand, has the right to use his/her work for exhibition, display, publication, advertising, website and other purposes. No additional remuneration shall be attached
