🌎 Still thinking about Culture Fest. 40+ countries showed up, and the cafeteria never stood a chance.

Thank you to everyone who danced, performed, and brought a piece of home with them!

See you at the next one 🫢

Today, AIS turned into a mini world tour 🌍

Students and staff from over 40 countries brought their culture to the cafeteria: performances, food stalls, music, prizes, and plenty of dancing along the way.

It was also Student Club Associations Day, so on top of the celebrations, students got to explore AIS clubs and find their people on campus.

Thanks to everyone who came out, performed, danced, and shared a piece of home with the rest of us!

Our Marketing and Hospitality Management students recently heard from Prasheel Churi, General Manager of The Sebel Auckland Manukau, on "The Future of Hospitality Marketing."

He covered:
βœ“ Building loyalty beyond rewards programmes
βœ“ Retention strategies for long-term customer relationships
βœ“ Using AI, data and personalisation to improve guest experience
βœ“ Preparing future leaders for a fast-changing digital landscape

One thing stuck with us: technology is changing hospitality, but human connection is still at its core. As Mr Churi put it, the future isn't simply "more digital," it's technology paired with genuine warmth.

Thank you, Mr Churi, for bringing real industry insight into the classroom!

πŸš€ AIS Talks | Using AI to Land More Interview Calls

Last week, we hosted Om Jha, a Digital Transformation Coach and Keynote Speaker, for a session on how AI is changing the way people get hired.

Students left with:
βœ… How AI and ATS tools actually screen resumes
βœ… Why LinkedIn optimisation matters more than ever
βœ… The AI tools worth knowing: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity
βœ… The AI skills employers are looking for in graduates

πŸ’‘ "AI won't replace you. People using AI correctly may."

Thank you, Om Jha, for empowering our students to navigate the future of work with confidence!

Culture Fest is taking over the cafeteria, and it's the good kind of chaos.

Thursday 13 August, 12–3pm at AIS. Performances worth filming for your story, food stalls serving stuff you won't find on campus any other day, and raffle prizes worth grabbing a ticket for.

It's Student Club Day too, so come meet the clubs and see what's actually out there.

Free entry. Bring cash for food. Tag someone who owes you lunch πŸ˜‰

Want to perform? Register via the link in bio!

Two weeks into Trimester 2B, and our new students are already settling in!

Since orientation day, they've explored the campus, made new friends, and started classes with the AIS community behind them every step of the way.
