*Research study opportunity*
We are inviting registered psychologists in Aotearoa New Zealand to participate in a study exploring psychologists’ perspectives, knowledge, and skills when working with Asian clients. This project aims to better understand current practice experiences and to identify potential gaps in training and support for clinicians working cross-culturally.
Participation involves:
• Taking part in a one-hour semi-structured interview (online or in person) to share your experiences, perspectives, and insights.
To be eligible, participants must be registered psychologists currently practising in Aotearoa New Zealand. Please note that this study is focused on the perspectives of non-Asian psychologists, as the aim is to explore cross-cultural experience when clinicians do not share the same cultural background as their clients.
Your involvement will contribute to important knowledge about how psychology can better meet the needs of Asian clients in Aotearoa. Participants will receive a modest token of appreciation and a letter of acknowledgement in recognition of their contribution.
If you are interested, please contact us at [email protected] to register your participation and access a copy of the study information sheet.
