International College of Auckland (ICA) was pleased to host a Site Safe training session, providing students with valuable knowledge and practical guidance on workplace health and safety.

The training was delivered by Mr. Pete Pearson, who shared important insights into maintaining a safe working environment, identifying workplace hazards, and understanding essential health and safety practices.

The session gave our students an excellent opportunity to strengthen their understanding of workplace safety and prepare themselves for safe and responsible participation in the New Zealand workforce.

Our students had the opportunity to gain valuable industry insight into precision electronics design and manufacturing, with a focus on how advanced electronic systems are developed and delivered locally for regulated and specialised industries.

The visit provided students with a practical understanding of the industry, including product design, engineering processes, precision manufacturing, quality control, testing, compliance, and industry standards.

It was a valuable opportunity for students to connect their classroom learning with real-world engineering practices and understand how technical knowledge is applied in professional environments.
