The Filipino Students' Association aims to build COMMUNITY amongst its members. We aim to guide Filipino students in adapting to the challenges that they will face in their new home. We provide an important support network and a warm, friendly environment for students. We also aim to uphold Filipino culture and values among students, and help them integrate these into the Kiwi way of living. We ai

m to remind our members to nurture and be proud of their Filipino heritage. Importantly, the FSA also welcomes students of all nationalities. We hope to share the Filipino culture, to enhance awareness, camaraderie, and good fellowship among students on campus. Finally, the FSA aims to cultivate a healthy passion for education. It engages its members in fun and meaningful activities that enable them to widen their social circles and have a better university experience.

Ilocano is one of the most widely spoken native languages in the Philippines, rooted in the provinces of the Ilocos Region and carried across generations by Ilocanos both home and abroad🇵🇭

Known for its distinct sounds and proud traditions, Ilocano reflects the resilience and resourcefulness the Ilocano people are known for. Through the voices and stories of our Ilocano speakers, we recognise that Filipino culture is not defined by one language alone, but strengthened by its diversity.

Join us as we listen, learn, and celebrate the languages that connect us to home, heritage, and one another!
