Hi everyone! 👋🏽
We’d love to welcome more international students from the School of Faculty of Engineering and Design, the University of Auckland to The Cuban Groove! 🇨🇺💃🏽🕺🏽 We teach Cuban Salsa and Rueda de Casino, and our classes are a fun way to meet people, get active, experience a bit of Cuban culture and enjoy some social dancing — no partner or previous experience needed.
We run four classes at the School each year, but if you’ve enjoyed them and would like to keep dancing, you’re very welcome to join our weekly Wednesday classes in Ponsonby from Wed 02 Sept.

And if you’re keen to dance to live Cuban music, Vivio & Friends — our small Cuban music ensemble — will be playing at Backyard Bar, 31 Northcote Rd, every Friday from 4 September. There’s a $10 dance class beforehand, featuring a different Latin dance style each week, followed by free social dancing with live music. 🎶💃🏽
