NZSE College stands in solidarity with our Nepalese learners and everyone affected by the tragic flash floods.

We're aware that many of our learners have friends and family connected to Nepal and China. Our thoughts are with you as the devastating flash floods and glacial collapse along the Nepal-China border continue to unfold. We know this news will be sitting heavily with you.

Please know that our tutors and Student Support team are here for anyone who needs support, or simply someone to talk to. Our thoughts with you, your family, and your community.

We were delighted to recently welcome our second — and largest — cohorts yet of the Master of Data Analytics (Level 9) and Master of Business Intelligence (Level 9)!

This group is the second to embark on NZSE’s newly established Master’s portfolio, which launched in May earlier this year.

At our Auckland City campus, learners were welcomed with a mihi whakatau and introduced to the people who will guide them throughout their studies, including Group Academic Director Dr Neel Pandey, Academic Lead Dr Sara Zandi, tutors, and our student support.

The introduction of our Master’s programmes marks an exciting step in the continued growth and maturity of NZSE’s programme portfolio. It reflects our commitment to creating opportunities for learners to develop advanced skills in areas that are increasingly important to businesses across Aotearoa.

We’re excited to support this cohort over the next 13 months as they build the capability to step into roles where data and business intelligence drives business success. Nō reira, tēnā koutou, tēnā koutou, tēnā tātou kātoa!

NZSE College alumna Jhoan Santos completed her New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing – Social and Community Services (Level 4) in 2026. Originally from the Philippines, and having spent 11 years living in Dubai, Santos came to NZSE as an international student seeking a better future for her young family.

“As a parent of three-year-old twin boys, I wanted to build a better future for my family in a country that values both career opportunities and quality of life,” says Santos.

After researching several education providers, Santos chose NZSE for its “strong reputation and positive student reviews. From the moment you enter the building at NZSE, staff greet you with smiles — it makes such a difference!”

In Aotearoa, one in four New Zealanders live with some form of disability: physical, psychological, or sensory. Santos chose the Disability strand of her programme, preparing her to provide high-quality, compassionate care for people with diverse needs.

On Friday, NZSE had an all-staff Winter Wānanga, which is the day where our whānau comes together for professional development. This year, our incredible NZ Certificate in Food and Beverage Service (Level 3) learners supported the day by preparing platters and serving food with a smile as part of their industry experience. Their professionalism and contribution were greatly appreciated by all of us!

This kind of industry experience is a crucial part of our programmes at NZSE. We want our students to graduate feeling confident and ready to step into their careers, and opportunities like the Wānanga give them valuable experience along the way.

NZSE College's pharmacy students recently participated in two engaging and informative product education sessions delivered by respected industry professionals Carol Hunt from Radiant Health Ltd and Bridget Clare from the Vitaco Group!

The presentations introduced students to both conventional pharmaceutical products and complementary health approaches, broadening their understanding of the diverse treatment options available in Aotearoa.

These sessions expose students to contemporary products, emerging healthcare trends and practical clinical insights, helping them develop into confident, well-rounded pharmacy professionals capable of delivering safe, patient-centred care. Thanks Carol and Bridget!
