Speech Science, The University of Auckland The Speech Science Discipline in the School of Psychology at the University of Auckland offers a range of postgraduate clinical and research programmes.

Speech Science is a discipline in the School of Psychology, started in 2003, currently offering a Postgraduate Diploma in Science (Speech Science), Master of Speech Language Therapy Practice, Master of Science (Speech Science) and PhD in Speech Science degrees. Students in the clinical MSLTPrac programme have a background in psychology, education , linguistics or health sciences. Students undertak

ing Masters or PhD research degrees have a range of backgrounds including speech language therapy, audiology and linguistics. Speech language therapists based overseas can also complete an online e-learning Certificate of Proficiency course in dysphagia offered each semester (depending on demand) by Speech Science.
