We’re excited to share yet another industry tour 😯 this time to Golden Bay Cement in Whangarei!

This is your chance to see how NZ’s largest cement manufacturer operates ⚙️ You’ll get to learn about cement milling and chemistry, and see different parts of the process such as the pyro kiln, cooler, turning cylinder and more 🤩

CMESA’s back with another awesome site visit - this time to Waste Management on Wednesday 20th August 🤩

Get an inside look at WM’s operations such as their steam system, liquid treatment plant, dewatering processes and much more 🏭🧠

You’ll hear from their engineers and take part in a Q&A and guided site tour. It’s a great chance to see the role Chemmat plays in the real world and how it contributes to a sustainable future 💬👷‍♀️

In collaboration with the CHEMMAT Department, we’re bringing you a relaxed evening of good food, drinks, and great company 😇

Come along to socialise with the Chemmat team, industry professionals, and your fellow students over drinks, burgers and fun activities to start the semester right 🍔🍺🤗

Join us next Monday for small games and exercises to lift some of that Week 11 stress off your shoulders - led by CMESA’s very own (highly qualified) yoga instructor 👀🧐

P.S. Wear breathable clothes (long pants are a good idea!) and get ready for some light stretches and movement. Snacks and drinks provided ⚡️🥤
