Just had an email from former PhD student Jakob Baek Kristensen, who's now a researcher at Roskilde University in Denmark. He's involved in running an impressive conference on 'Media and Publics' on 28-29 April next year (speakers include Nancy Fraser). Deadline for abstracts is 15 November, which is pretty soon
