APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN 📢 For the 2027 Ngarimu VC and 28th (Māori) Battalion Memorial Scholarships. Link in bio for more information & how to apply!

Funded by the Ngarimu VC and 28th (Māori) Battalion Memorial Scholarship Fund Board, these scholarships honour Victoria Cross recipient Second Lieutenant Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa Ngarimu and the 28th (Māori) Battalion.

Open to ākonga Māori pursuing university study, the Ngarimu scholarships support ākonga to build knowledge, develop as leaders, and give back to their whānau, hapū, iwi, and communities.

Scholarships available for 2027:
Four Undergraduate Scholarships – up to $30,000 each ($10,000 per year for up to three years)
Three Master’s Scholarships – up to $20,000 ($10,000 per year for up to two years)
One Master of Education Research Scholarship – up to $20,000 ($10,000 per year for up to two years)
One Doctoral Scholarship – up to $40,000 ($20,000 per year for up to two years)

Mauri ora!

Study Week (2–5 June) is next week and we are so excited to be supporting you through it!

UC Māori will be providing quiet study spaces throughout the week for those who need a good spot to get into it ✨

Kai will be provided daily throughout Study Week to keep you fuelled up and ready to go 🍳🍗

Make sure to flick through the slides attached to this post for a full timetable of the PALS sessions available throughout the week so you can plan ahead.

We will also be posting daily to remind you of all the sessions available the next day, so keep an eye on our page and come through for the support!

It is going to be a great week, whānau. Let’s smash those exams together! 🎉
