Come support our MAOR282 Kapa Haka students as they perform for their final assessment, then stick around for a BBQ before study week kicks off!

Hari Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori, whānau! 🖤❤️

This year, we celebrate the theme “Ake Ake Ake — Forever Language” and the enduring strength, mana and future of te reo Māori.

Throughout the week, we’ll be taking you on a journey around different taone and marae across Ōtautahi, celebrating te reo Māori in the places and spaces that bring our communities together.

We encourage you all to get involved in the kaupapa happening throughout the week! Te Akatoki will be hosting events right through to Thursday, followed by our Quiz Night this Friday!

So bring your whānau, bring your friends, and come celebrate with us!

Te Wiki o te Reo Māori is nearly here 🖤❤️

We’ve got kaupapa happening all week to celebrate our reo, and we’re keeping some of it under wraps for now. Keep your eyes on our page because we’ll be sharing what’s on each day as the week unfolds.

But here’s one thing you can lock into your calendar right now: our UC Māori Pō Patapātai - Quiz Night 🎉 Bring your whānau, bring your mates, and battle it out for the top spot while you enjoy a hāngī on us.

Study Week (2–5 June) is next week and we are so excited to be supporting you through it!

UC Māori will be providing quiet study spaces throughout the week for those who need a good spot to get into it ✨

Kai will be provided daily throughout Study Week to keep you fuelled up and ready to go 🍳🍗

Make sure to flick through the slides attached to this post for a full timetable of the PALS sessions available throughout the week so you can plan ahead.

We will also be posting daily to remind you of all the sessions available the next day, so keep an eye on our page and come through for the support!

It is going to be a great week, whānau. Let’s smash those exams together! 🎉
